Nestled between the Palmiet Mountains of the Overberg region is Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, where fine wine meets exquisite dining. This Walker Bay luxury estate in Hermanus is home to the Benguela Cove Manor Restaurant, known for the chef’s extraordinary flavour combinations.
Executive chef Annie Badenhorst finds her culinary inspiration from the Manor’s bold architecture, artistic design and various art pieces adorning the restaurant. The cuisine is deliciously prepared from fresh, local produce to create French and English inspired menus. An a la carte or chef’s tasting menu is expertly paired with complimentary Benguela Cove estate wines for guests to enjoy while dining.
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is also open for vineyard tours and wine tastings
on the lagoon. Guests to the estate are in for a luxury safari treat as they embark on a journey through the vines to learn more about the growing cycles and vinification of Benguela Cove wines.
They can also climb aboard our Lady Bonnie pontoon boat and enjoy a tasting of exquisite wines while overlooking the Bot River Lagoon.
Live music, cheese boards and award-winning estate wines can be found at the Tasting Room every Sunday as guests enjoy the best sunset in Hermanus. Wine tastings, chocolate or cheese wine pairings and the views of the Palmiet Mountains across the lagoon are perfect for guests who want sit back and relax in our cosy Tasting Room.
