Wendy

Wendy's Hut

Wendy's cottage is named after a lone female whale that used to visit the town in the late 1930's.  This whale, who was fondly known as Wendy, was considered one of the family by the village folk, as she used to return year after year.

Bientang

Bientang's Cave

This cave was named after Bientang; the last known Koi Strandloper to have lived in the cave. She lived here at the turn of the 19th century and is said to have disappeared mysteriously, no one knows what happened to her.

Walker Bay

The bay was named after a Royal Naval officer called W. Walker who surveyed that stretch of coast around 1818.
