General shopping hours are 08h30 to 17h30 on weekdays and 08h00 to 13h00 on Saturdays. Limited trading on Sundays and public holidays. Several convenience shops are open at 07h00 and remain open until late, 7 days a week. There are 24-hour express shops found at many service/gas stations.

When a public holiday falls on a Sunday the following Monday becomes a holiday.
