SEASONS AND CLIMATE

A mild Mediterranean climate makes The Cape Whale Coast an area for all seasons.  Average temperatures:  summer - 26 ˚C;  winter - 14 ˚C

Winter:  June to August is generally mild with rain and high winds at times.

Spring:  September to October is mild with occasional rain.

Summer:  November to February is dry and sunny. The extreme heat is tempered by pleasant sea breezes and occasional coastal showers.

Autumn:  Early autumn (March) is idyllic with barmy days and afternoon sea mists.
